MK service area: Strategy and Training
Exeter Community Initiative (ECI) is a charity organisation to which MK Associates supported in the development and implementation of their marketing strategy. In addition, MK organised branding and promotion training and 'one to one' support on copywriting and leaflet design.
One important aspect involved in developing the marketing strategy was to organise a 'discovery day'. This was held with employees, trustees and the director to enable MK and ECI to get a better understanding of the charity. This activity resulted in a better marketing strategy being created in addition to improving its implementation. Implementation was improved because the employees and director executing the strategy were directly involved in its creation.
The outcome of this project was a 3 year marketing strategy that is enabling ECI to serve Exeter's wider social community better.
